Nancy B. Brewer is an author and native of Concord, North Carolina. Ms. Brewer attended Carolina School of Holistic Medicine in Chapel Hill North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina Writers Associations and a Star author for 'Southern Authors.' She has had a long time interest in history, genealogy and the art of natural healing. Nancy says some of her inspiration for telling stories came from her grandmother, a self-taught nurse. Her grandmother shared with her stories out of the olden days and about her great-grandmother who was a mid-wife in Stanly County, North Carolina. Ms. Brewer attended Carolina School of Holistic Medicine in Chapel Hill North Carolina. She has been writing for at least ten years, but only considered it seriously as a profession about four years ago. Her books, "Carolina " and "Beyond Sandy Ridge" have both been on the North Carolina and South Carolina best seller list and most recently been added to best seller lists on Amazon. As a history reenactor and storyteller, she says that writing historical fiction came natural to her. She was often asked questions that led her into countless hours of research and the more she discovered the more she had to share.
